Mr.page, an elderly minister of the Christian Church moved his family to Champaign in 1874 so that his six remaining children might acquire a university education. He bought two rooming houses in the 300 block on South Wright Street from the Illinois Industrial University. One house was a rooming house for boys and one for girls.
