Stephen D'Arcy is a faculty member at California State University, Sacramento where he teaches courses on criminal investigations, police and society, and leadership in criminal justice. He holds a master of science degree in management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is also a graduate of California's Command College for police executives, and has over forty years' experience in law enforcement. The California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training has designated Mr. D'Arcy a subject matter expert in the areas of use-of-force, ethics, tactics, officer-involved shootings, internal affairs investigations, and supervision of critical incidents.
