The goal of the series Advances in Alzheimer’s Research , with Volumes 1 and 2, is to provide an integrated approach to AD from basic and clinical research and to highlight the valuable information in order to unravel the origin, pathogenesis and prevention of AD. The aim of this book is to both capture and discuss improvements toward the diagnosis and potential treatment of AD by both established and novel strategies. This book series, including the Volume 2, provides an important mechanism to bring under the same roof a variety of scientific interests and expertise to specifically focus on AD and related dementias.
