The particulars which are given have in general been furnished by the persons concerned, in reply to a circular issued by the University, and have been checked and supplemented by reference to Army and Navy Lists. Then follows a list of Orders, Decorations, and Mentions in Dispatches, which includes, with many other honours, five awards of the Victoria Cross.
