Where there was little or no rain, however, snow cover increased significantly. The greatest increase in snow pack occurred at Baker Butte #2 and Snow Bowl #2 where 9 and 10 of increased water content was measured. Snow cover now varies from 75% of average on the Gila watershed to 156% on the Verde, with near normal amounts elsewhere.
