"I'd be honored to meet with Mr. Masterson." Little did Galdello know that this moment would set in motion a chain of events that would lead to his downfall and transformation into the notorious Mad Magician. Dan Masterson was a shrewd businessman, always looking for ways to make himself more successful. When he saw the potential in Galdello's illusions, he knew he had struck gold. "These are remarkable, my boy," Masterson exclaimed, examining Galdello's blueprints with greedy eyes. "Simply remarkable. When Galdello confronted him, Masterson merely laughed. "Read the contract, boy," he sneered, waving the document in Galdello's face. "Everything you create while working for Grand Illusions belongs to me. You should have been more careful." Galdello's world crumbled around him.
