Sylvia is taken to the hospital where Stuart's son, Dr. Sam Davidson is called to the ER to treat Sylvia. Little does Sam realize that the car Sylvia ran into was the brand new Corvette his father had picked up for him. Sam notices the interest between his father and Sylvia, both widowed, and shifts his role to master matchmaker. He enlists Sandra's help, planning to make the parents think Sam and Sandra are attracted to each other. Little does he realize that the attraction between them is no longer make believe. At the same time, Stuart and Sylvia do some matchmaking of their own, planning activities with Sam and Sandra. Sam extends his matchmaking skill to his nurse and his uncle. The humor and confusion result in delightful romances.
