James McGinnis and his wife Sarah Davis McGinnis, who were married ca. 1774 in Virginia, lived in Frederick Co., Virginia in the last half of 1700. They were parents of eight children born between 1774 and 1793. Descendants live in Virginia, West Virginia, Oregon, Missouri and elsewhere.
